Hello lovelies,
I love looking at old vintage beauty advertisements, especially makeup ads from the 1960s. I thought it would be fun to recreate the vintage beauty look from a 1960s advertisement online. I had so much fun making this video I plan on recreating more vintage advertisements from the 1960s and other decades.

In the early 1960s, makeup saw a continuation of the 1950s makeup look. This looked was a flicked upper eye line, matte eyeshadow in greys, greens, and blues on the eyelid. There was also soft blush and lipsticks in soft reds, coral, and pinks. In the mid-1960s, the focus shifted to the eyes with more dramatic eyeshadow and brighter colors. The high fashion look had a pale pastel colored eyelid with a dark shadow in the socket crease. False eyelashes were very popular. This baby doll look was trendy for younger women.

My Makeup:
Eyeshadow: Valley of the Vintage Dolls
Eyeliner: Vintage Cat-eye stamp
Lipstick: Sharon Lipstick
Cleansing Cream: Rose Cold Cream Cleanser
