I was flipping through one of my fashion magazines and noticed that Kate Spade was using a hot dog as a fashion accessory in their newest spring editorials.  I figured I would switch things up and use a corn dog as my fashion accessory. I haven’t had a corn dog in over a decade and forgot how tasty they can be; I also realized that it is really hard not to look weird when you are chowing down on a corn dog. For all you hot dog lovers, don’t worry I have plans to use a yummy hot dog as an accessory in the near future. When I was in art school I used to draw fashion illustrations with cat heads and forgot how much I liked drawing cat people. I find it easier to illustrate a cat version of myself wearing my clothes than drawing a human face and hands. I have come to the conclusion that drawing paws is way easier than fingers. I also just really love cats and drawing them.

This is the first time that I read about corn dog. Unfortunately I have never tried any in my life! I like the painting, I have a similar one of a cat with a human body (naive style painting) in my bedroom.

Cats are so lovely and I loved the illustration! At first I thought it was a popsicle 🙂 but then I am very shortsighted and it’s midnight now, when it gets worse 🙂 Now I see, nice idea, and I didn’t see the Kate Spade hotdog anyway, so for me this is the original one! You look very beautiful and I like the top and skirt with different patterns!
